We had our humble beginning in 1992 under the name of Nature’s Path, a small 800 square foot supplement store. From there a small smoothie and juice bar emerged. After 10 years, we had the opportunity to recycle the old Gastonia Fire department – a larger space. We realized our community needed a full service health food market and healthy café.
About Renee, Owner
Renee began this business 20 years ago as a hobby of sorts. She has always had an inquisitive personality, wanting to know “why?” and “how?” things work the way they do. Herbs were her passion from the beginning and were what prompted her to open a natural supplement store, knowing all the power, magic and healing potential that exists in God’s medicine. Each year she continues her education by attending Medicine’s From The Earth conference in Black Mountain, NC. Renee has a servant heart, with a profound concern for her community. She has been and remains very active in the community. She has lectured in the School System, including Gaston College. She was elected “Business Woman of the year in 2003 through the Gaston Chamber of Commerce. She served on the Executive Committee for the Optimist Club and also for The Aids Council. She is currently on the board of Keep Gastonia Beautiful and received Volunteer of the Year award three years ago. If you don’t know Renee, you need to, her vibrant spirit is infectious!
